Artist and sculptor Amy Ferreira was born in Illinois and grew up in the small town of Simcoe, Ontario Canada. One of 4 children, Amy was always drawn to babies and spent many hours in the nursery of her father's church. From a young age, she could usually be found with her Madam Alexander pussycat doll meticulously dressed for church every Sunday. It is no wonder that later in life after having four beautiful boys of her own, she would return to her dolls and kindle a burning desire to create them herself!
